"I sure didn't hear that here. I didn't hear it out in the parking lot. In fact, exactly the opposite of that ... "It sounded like it was an away game for us. When they played Green Bay Packers' highlights on the screen, we heard (their fans) boo like we were at their stadium" – Titans DT Sen'Derrick Marks, on the number of Bears fans at LP Field for yesterday's Bears-Titans game (Nashville TENNESSEAN, 11/5).

"I'm a regular football fan. I don't spend a lot of time trying to over-think something. I really don't. I'm the biggest Redskins fan" – NASCAR team Owner and former Redskins coach Joe Gibbs, on watching football as a fan now (CHARLOTTE OBSERVER, 11/4).

"For now, I'm not optimistic. It's frustrating for the fans and us, especially for the stage we're at" – Pac-12 Commissioner Larry Scott, on Pac-12 Network carriage talks with DirecTV (L.A. DAILY NEWS, 11/4).
