Yahoo Sports To Offer Fantasy Leagues With $500 Cash Prizes

Yahoo Sports for the first time this fall will be offering open fantasy football leagues with cash prizes up to $500. While that is still far less than some other high-stakes leagues with top prizes reaching well into five and six figures, the move by Yahoo nonetheless reflects a growing market desire for more competitive fantasy leagues. Yahoo also has signed sponsorship deals with Citi, Miller Lite, Snickers, Toyota, and Visa for the upcoming fantasy football season.
