Competitor Group Shuffles Positions Among Top Executives

Endurance sports company Competitor Group promoted Scott Dickey to CEO, replacing Peter Englehart, who will remain Chair. Dickey will retain his President title. Steve Gintowt will assume Dickey's COO role and continue to serve as CFO. The moves are scheduled to be announced this morning. Dickey joined Competitor in '08, after posts with Time Warner, K2, The Walt Disney Co. and the NBA. Competitor, which is owned by fund company Falconhead, owns and operates 58 racing events around the world, including the flagship Rock 'n' Roll Marathon Series. The company also owns several publications, including Velo and Inside Triathlon.
