OHL Team To Play Games At Senators' Arena Amid Redevelopment

The OHL Ottawa 67's today are expected to formally announce plans to "play home games at Scotiabank Place for the next two seasons while Lansdowne Park undergoes a massive redevelopment." 67's VP Randy Burgess sent a message to the Ottawa City Council saying the team's intent is to "help expedite construction timetables at Lansdowne and eliminate the need to work around the 67’s schedule in the Civic Centre arena." This comes after revamped plans for the Lansdowne Park project were unveiled earlier this week (QMI AGENCY, 2/8).
