Golf Writer Jason Sobel Leaves ESPN.com To Join Golf Channel

Veteran golf writer Jason Sobel has left ESPN.com to join Golf Channel, where he will write stories and blog for the network’s website while also appearing occasionally on Golf Channel’s TV news and talk shows. “Jason is a very well-known and respected golf journalist who is in tune with the game,” said Golf Channel Senior VP/Programming, Production & Operations Tom Stathakes. “His strong opinions and perspective have attracted a loyal following who will continue to enjoy his contributions on GolfChannel.com.” Sobel was introduced this morning on GC’s “Morning Drive” and posted his first column on GolfChannel.com this morning.
