They found several pairs ofSaddam’s boxer shorts in the hut.  Bythe way, that’s the closest we came to finding weapons of mass destruction. ...Mr. Bigshot Saddam Hussein came out of the hole with his hands up.  Just gave himself up, surrenderedimmediately.  Hell, Winona Ryderput up more of a fight” ("Late Show," CBS, 12/16).

When they found Saddam,he had $750,000 in cash, a pistol and two AK47’s.  They now believe he was trying to start a new career as a rapstar. ... Cardinal Martino of the Vatican is complaining that we havemishandled Saddam Hussein.  He thinks wemight be mistreating him.  I don’t thinkwe’re mistreating him.  Okay, we’re nottreating him like an altar boy. ... A male nurse in New Jersey has admitted tokilling 30 to 40 patients in hospitals where he worked.  His name was Charles Cullen, or asHMO’s call him, employee of the month” ("The Tonight Show," NBC,12/16).
