NBA China CEO DAVID SHOEMAKER will step down following the '17-18 season. He will continue to lead NBA China through the season and play an active role in recruiting his successor. Shoemaker played a pivotal role in expanded partnerships with Chinese broadcasters, as well as the five-year expansion of the Tencent partnership. Prior to joining the NBA, he had more than 10 years experience in the sports industry, including a stint as WTA President (NBA).

HOUSE REPAIRS: Under Armour is "realigning its digital business" and named Yahoo Sports Head of Product MICHAEL LA GUARDIA Senior VP/Digital Product. La Guardia starts Jan. 8 and will report to CTO PAUL FIPPS. Meanwhile, MyFitnessPal co-Founders MIKE and ALBERT LEE "will exit" UA in January. UA also said that interim CFO DAVID BERGMAN "will now take the job permanently," reporting to Founder, Chair & CEO KEVIN PLANK (WWD.com, 12/4).

EXECS: The Olympic Channel named ESPN Digital & Print Media Senior Deputy Editor MARY BYRNE Editor-in-Chief. Byrne will be based in Madrid and report to GM MARK PARKMAN (Olympic Channel)....KFC Yum! Center GM DENNIS PETRULLO "has resigned." Petrullo has "helped run the arena" since '12 (COURIER-JOURNAL.com, 12/4)....Excel Sports Management named Roc Nation VP/Branding & Strategy BRYAN BURNEY VP/Business Development (Excel)....Southern Utah Univ. removed the interim tag for AD DEBBIE CORUM, making her the "first woman AD in the state's history." Corum has been at SUU since May '16 and was "named interim AD in June after JASON BUTIKOFER left" to become Purdue Deputy AD (THESPECTRUM.com, 11/30)....Richard Childress Racing named ANDY PETREE VP/Competition and DR. ERIC WARREN CTO. Petree was "originally brought on in an advisory role with the team in October" (MOTORSPORT.com, 12/4)....Former NBAer NAZR MOHAMMED has become a "professional evaluation scout/identification and intelligence" for the Thunder (THEPLAYERSTRIBUNE.com, 12/4).
