Buyers & Sellers: Oklahoma State Booster T. Boone Pickens Selling Texas Ranch For $250M

Oklahoma State booster T. BOONE PICKENS is putting his Mesa Vista Ranch in Pampa, Texas, on the market for $250M. Sitting on over 100 square miles and 85 miles northeast of Amarillo, the ranch "encompasses approximately 64,809 acres and borders 25 miles of the Canadian River." The ranch also features its own "airport, art gallery, chapel and an 11,000-square-foot kennel for hunting dogs" (WALL STREET JOURNAL, 11/30).

BUYERS & SELLERS: Rockets F TREVOR ARIZA is selling his home in the Tarzana neighborhood of L.A. for $3.5M. The one-acre estate, built in '90, "includes a main house, a guest casita, a swimming pool and a basketball half-court." There are "five bedrooms and eight bathrooms in nearly 8,700 square feet of living space" (LATIMES.com, 11/17)....Pro Football HOFer DEION SANDERS' former mansion in Prosper, Texas, is "being auctioned off" by Concierge Auctions. The 29,122-square-foot house has a "two-lane bowling alley; a game room with a bar; a theater with a stage; a full indoor basketball court with a scoreboard and sound system; a gym; a barbershop; steam showers; a locker room; a yoga studio; a natatorium with a pool and spa; a screened-in colonnade." Outside there is a "sand volleyball court; two swimming pools; and a motor court that holds 12 cars and one bus or RV" (DALLASNEWS.com, 11/22)....Mariners hitting coach EDGAR MARTINEZ bought a home in Yarrow Point, Wash., for nearly $5.4M. The five-bedroom home was built last year and "sits on nearly half an acre near Loch Lane beach" (BIZJOURNALS.com, 11/30)....Former MLBer VLADIMIR GUERRERO has sold his home in Anaheim Hills, Calif., for $2.3M. The Mediterranean-style home "opens to a foyer that sits beneath crushed marble archways and 14-foot ceilings." A total of "five bedrooms and six bathrooms are spread across 5,833 square feet of interior space." An athletic court, cabana, fire pit and wet bar "make up the spacious backyard" (LATIMES.com, 11/20).
