Click Bait: Mid America Mortgage Brand Joining RPM's Sponsorship Ranks For No. 43 Car

Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series team Richard Petty Motorsports on Friday will announce a new sponsor in Mid America Mortgage Inc. brand Click ‘n Close, according to sources. The move will help fill the sponsorship void left in the wake of Smithfield Foods’ departure. Terms of the deal were not available by presstime, though the team will reveal details during a press conference Friday afternoon at Texas Motor Speedway, site of this weekend’s NASCAR national series action. Click ‘n Close, which Mid America Mortgage calls its rapid borrower approval system, will sponsor RPM’s No. 43 entry that will be driven by Bubba Wallace. It joins STP and U.S. Air Force as brands expected to serve as primary sponsors in ’18, though the team will likely still have a significant chunk of inventory to fill amid Smithfield’s impending departure. Smithfield, which reached a settlement with RPM earlier this week over their sponsorship dispute that went public in September, had been serving as primary sponsor for the vast majority of the season in a deal worth more than $10M annually. Sources said that NASCAR helped bring Mid America Mortgage into the sport, and that there could also be an official partnership with the sanctioning body that is announced as part of the move. Mid America Mortgage is working with Charlotte-based Bespoke Sports & Entertainment.
