Delta Air Lines Returns As Falcons Sponsor After Eight Years, Will Be Team's Official Airline

Delta Air Lines is returning as a sponsor of the Falcons, eight years after "dropping a past sponsorship of the football team," according to Kelly Yamanouchi of the ATLANTA JOURNAL-CONSTITUTION. The Atlanta-based airline will be the "official airline of the Falcons, Atlanta United and Mercedes-Benz Stadium for the next five years" through the '21 season. Part of the deal is the "already-unveiled Sky 360 Club" at M-B Stadium. Delta did "not disclose how much the sponsorship is worth." The airline already sponsors the Braves and the Hawks, and said that this move "makes it a sponsor of all of the city's professional sports teams." Even while another airline in the past "sponsored the team, Delta continued to carry the Falcons on charter flights" (AJC.com, 9/14).
