Octagon Brings On Tier 1 Management's Casey Muir As Dir Of Client Managment

Octagon has hired Casey Muir, an NFLPA-certified agent, as Dir of Client Management. Muir will work out of Philadelphia and report to Octagon Football Managing Dir David Yates. Muir was certified by the NFLPA to represent players in contract negotiations in '10 and currently includes Seahawks G Mark Glowinski, Patriots DT Adam Butler and Vikings DE Stephen Weatherly, among others, as clients. He formerly ran his own firm, Tier 1 Management. Muir joining Octagon is a strategic hire, not an acquisition. He called Octagon an "iconic company" and noted he now will have the ability to provide more services to his clients.
