Overnight Ratings: NASCAR From Pocono Leads All Sports Broadcasts; PGA Tour Flat

NBCSN yesterday afternoon drew a 2.0 overnight rating for Kyle Busch's win in the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series race from Pocono Raceway, leading all sports telecasts for the weekend. Last year's race was pushed to Monday due to rain. Two years ago, NBCSN drew a 2.5 overnight for the late-summer race from Pocono.

RIGHT DOWN THE MIDDLE: CBS yesterday drew a 1.7 overnight rating for the final round of the PGA Tour RBC Canadian Open, which saw Jhonattan Vegas win in a playoff over Charley Hoffman. That figure is flat from a 1.7 rating for the final round of last year's event, which ran a week earlier in the schedule and also was won by Vegas.

The chart below lists overnight ratings from weekend sports telecasts on broadcast TV.
