Good Luck Kiss: Brickyard 400 Draws Highest Viewership Total In Six Years

The Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series Brickyard 400 on NBC averaged 5.63 million viewers on Sunday night, marking the race’s best figure since ’11, when ESPN averaged 6.38 million viewers. The race from Indianapolis Motor Speedway had a two-hour delay at the start that forced the telecast well into primetime. Last year’s race averaged 5.23 million viewers in its normal afternoon time slot. Next year, the race at IMS moves to September as the last race before the Chase begins.
