The Lakers' acquisition of G LONZO BALL in the '17 NBA Draft and hiring of MAGIC JOHNSON as President of Basketball Operations wree "part of a fateful stretch" for team President JEANIE BUSS, which is why she tops the list of 50 Most Powerful in Southern California Sports in '17, according to Clay Fowler of the INLAND VALLEY DAILY BULLETIN. Rounding out the top three are L.A. Mayor ERIC GARCETTI (2) and Johnson (3) (INLAND VALLEY DAILY BULLETIN, 7/24).
