INSIDE SCOOP: WNBA Dream G ANGEL MCCOUGHTRY "stepped away from her sport for a season and opened an ice cream parlor" in Atlanta. But McCoughtry said that she is frustrated that the WNBA "has not promoted her venture." McCoughtry: "If you go look on the WNBA page, I don’t think you’ll see me and the ice cream shop. Why not? I’ve done so much for the league. Why am I not on there? Why haven’t you guys posted something about the ice cream shop? Is it because I’m sitting out? Who cares? I’m getting rest. Give me something. Nothing else against the league or the WNBA, but you guys have to promote us and what we’re doing to show people she’s doing something in her community." McCoughtry's "plans to return" to the Dream at least until the '20 Tokyo Games (NYTIMES.com, 7/21).

HIGH STAKES GAME: UNLV has "hired a lawyer" after seeing the Raiders' first stadium proposal for Las Vegas. The school retained N.Y.-based Herrick Feinstein attorney DANIEL ETNA to "advise the university in negotiations." The retainer can "extend up to two years, though talks with the Raiders likely need to wrap in the next few weeks." Etna’s services will cost $745 per hour. UNLV Dir of Media Relations TONY ALLEN said that the university is also consulting with local attorneys from Snell & Wilmer (LAS VEGAS SUN, 7/21).

HOW 'BOUT THEM ARTWORKS
: Cowboys Owner JERRY JONES' wife, GENE, is the "curatorial force behind The Dallas Cowboys Art Collection, which recently expanded" from AT&T Stadium to The Star at Frisco. Gene put together a seven-member council that "critiques and curates the pieces before they're acquired and installed." Both Gene and her daughter, Cowboys Exec VP & Chief Brand officer CHARLOTTE JONES ANDERSON, are members of the council. The Cowboys Art Collection has "grown to 78 works by 53 artists." It started with "19 works of art at AT&T Stadium and has almost quadrupled in the nearly eight years" it has been open (DALLAS MORNING NEWS, 7/21).

NAMES: Browns coach HUE JACKSON and his wife MICHELLE have “launched a foundation to support organizations that combat human trafficking and aid its victims, women who are exploited, abused and scarred for life.” The Hue Jackson Foundation announced a partnership with the Salvation Army of Greater Cleveland to “provide secure housing for women who have been victimized by human trafficking” (AP, 7/20)....The Ravens are “footing the bill” for $1.5M in renovations at Renaissance Academy High School in Baltimore after Owner STEVE BISCIOTTI was “moved by stories of students at the troubled school overcoming tough obstacles and the devotion they showed to the school when officials threatened to shut it down” (BALTIMORESUN.com, 7/21)....Patriots QB TOM BRADY is turning 40 and Boston is “getting ready to bid him a happy birthday with a bash at Faneuil Hall Marketplace.” Fans are "asked to gather" at 1:00pm ET on Aug. 3 to sing Happy Birthday. Afterwards, everyone can “crush some cake,” courtesy of North End Bakery in Quincy Market (BOSTONHERALD.com, 7/21)....ESPN Producer MATT POMEROY and his wife on Wednesday welcomed their daughter, MOLLY ELIZABETH (TWITTER.com, 7/20).
