Golden Knights Searching For New CMO After Abouzeid Steps Down After Eight Months

The Golden Knights are “conducting a search" for a new CMO after NEHME ABOUZEID "left that position on June 30," according to the LAS VEGAS REVIEW-JOURNAL. Abouzeid’s departure "came less than two weeks after the NHL Expansion Draft and Entry Draft." Abouzeid in a Facebook post wrote, “Looking forward to the next journey helping other companies and brands do the same. Look for my own firm launching soon in Vegas.” He was “hired by the Knights in November from Wynn Las Vegas" (LAS VEGAS REVIEW-JOURNAL, 7/11). In Las Vegas, Jess Granger notes Abouzeid was a "finalist for the same position" with the Coyotes before joining the Golden Knights (LAS VEGAS SUN, 7/11).
