Overnight Ratings: Greenbrier Classic Lower On CBS; Lakers-Celtics Draws Well On ESPN

Yesterday's final round of the PGA Tour Greenbrier Classic led all weekend sports TV telecasts with a 1.7 overnight rating, but Xander Schauffele's win by one stroke over Robert Streb was down sharply from the '15 final round. Last year's Greenbrier was canceled due to flooding at the West Virginia resort. The '15 final round, which saw Danny Lee win in a four-man playoff, drew a 2.5 overnight on July 4 weekend. The '14 event, which saw Angel Cabrera win by two strokes over George McNeill, drew a 1.8 overnight.

NOTES: ESPN drew a 0.9 overnight for the Lakers-Celtics NBA Summer League game on Saturday night, even with what Fox drew on Saturday afternoon for the U.S.-Panama CONCACAF Gold Cup game.
