Rockets GM DARYL MOREY has been "given a four-year extension" through the '21-22 season. Morey had one year remaining on his current deal. He "just finished his 11th season with the Rockets" (ESPN.com, 6/21).

Meanwhile, the Springfield Cardinals promoted VP/Sales & Marketing DAN REITER to VP & GM, where he will report to Cardinals VP/Business Development DAN GOOD (Cardinals)....The Packers named BMO Harris Bank of Green Bay CEO MICHAEL SIMMER to its exec committee, where he replcaes JOHN BERGSTROM. The team also nominated former NFLer DEXTER MCNABB and Belmark President & CEO KARL SCHMIDT to the team's BOD (GREEN BAY PRESS-GAZETTE, 6/21)....N.Y.-based marketing and communications agency Taylor named Bleacher Report producer HUNTER MANDEL Dir of Digital Sports. Taylor also promoted several inside of its digital sports practice: SAMANTHA BAIER to Dir; BO WULF to Senior Content Manager; and MIKE MACIAS to Social Media Manager (Taylor).
