CSE Talent has parted ways with three MLB player agents, KEITH GRUNEWALD, JASON COOK and TREVOR KIEBOOM. CSE Talent President DANNY MARTOE confirmed the three agents were no longer employees, but had no further comment. Grunewald worked at CSE for 19 years and had been Senior VP/Baseball Operations, according to his LinkedIn profile. Cook also held the title of Senior VP/Baseball Operations, but it was not clear how long he had been at CSE. Kieboom worked at the agency for one year (Liz Mullen, Staff Writer).

STEPPING AWAY: NCAA Exec VP/Education & Community Engagement and Chief Inclusion Officer BERNARD FRANKLIN will retire Nov. 1. He joined the NCAA in '03. Global search firm Heidrick & Struggles will immediately conduct a nationwide search to find Franklin's replacement. An NCAA member-led search committee also is being formed (NCAA).

TAKING THE WHEEL: NASCAR Digital Media Managing Director TIM CLARK will become the new head of the NDM group amid the departure of the group’s vice president, COLIN SMITH, who announced this week that he has become the new CEO of Miami-based Motorsport Network. The Charlotte-based Clark will report to NASCAR Exec VP and Chief Global Sales & Marketing Officer STEVE PHELPS and will keep the same title (Adam Stern, Staff Writer). Meanwhile, the NASCAR Foundation promoted Acting Exec Dir NICHOLE KRIEGER to Exec Dir. Krieger, who had been serving in the role since February, previously was NASCAR Foundation Senior Dir of Development & Marketing. She will assume her new role effective immediately and will report to NASCAR Vice Chair MIKE HELTON (NASCAR).

EXECS: Kroenke Sports & Entertainment named MLS VP/Club Service DECLAN BOLGER Senior VP & CMO (KSE)....The MLB Rangers promoted VP/Ballpark Operations SEAN DECKER to Senior VP/Operations & Events and Exec VP/Business Partnerships & Development JOE JANUSZEWSKI to Exec VP, CRO & CMO (Rangers)....The Hawks named MATT BUNTING Senior VP/Content, Production & Experience (THE DAILY)....Rahal Letterman Lanigan Racing named CSM Sport & Entertainment Senior VP/Business Development TOM KNOX Senior VP/Sales & Marketing (RLLR)....Runner's World named BETTY WONG ORTIZ Editor-in-Chief. She becomes the first female to hold the title in the magazine's history (THE DAILY).
