NBC's "SNF" Secures Primetime Win Among All Shows For Sixth Straight TV Season

NBC's "SNF" officially finished the '16-17 TV season as the No. 1 show in primetime for the sixth straight year. That puts "SNF" in a tie with Fox' "American Idol" for the most consecutive primetime wins for any show on record (dating back to '50). "SNF" also was tops among adults 18-49 for the seventh straight season. The average of 20.3 million viewers for "SNF," which is measured on a Live+Same-Day basis, even topped all other entertainment options when those shows are measured via Live+7-Day. The closest competition to "SNF" among non-sports programming (on a Live+7 basis) was CBS' "Big Bang Theory" at 19.1 million viewers (NBC).
