ESPN.com's Bob Pockrass noted NASCAR driver Daniel Suarez this week went to see a screening of  "Cars 3," in which he "has a small part voicing one of the animated cars." The film, which is set for release on June 16, will have its logo on Suarez' car this Sunday at the Coca-Cola 600 at Charlotte Motor Speedway. Suarez said, "You don't know how excited I am. Not only am I going to be in the movie, ... one of my old cars is in the movie" (ESPN.com, 5/25).

STRIKE A POSE: ESPNW's Katie Barnes apparel brand Lululemon recently "launched its first global ad campaign, 'This Is Yoga,' featuring seven inspirational stories of people from around the world." One of those stories is that of Gold Medal-winning U.S. beach volleyball player Kerri Walsh Jennings. She said, "I've come to learn that the concept and principles of yoga apply to my life even if I'm not doing yoga. I love it and respect how beautiful a practice it is and how yoga comes to life off the mat, whether you're painting in the studio, pounding on drums or on the court like I am" (ESPNW.com, 5/25).

SKIN IN THE GAME: MiLB announced a partnership with the American Cancer Society to promote sun safety measures. The "Cover Your Bases" initiative will provide over 75,000 free sunscreen samples to MiLB fans at over 80 ballparks between Memorial Day and June 30 (ACS).
