Atlanta United VP/Business Operations Ann Rodriguez Resigns After Just Two Years

Atlanta United VP/Business Operations ANN RODRIGUEZ has "resigned, effective this summer," according to Doug Roberson of the ATLANTA JOURNAL-CONSTITUTION. Rodriguez "wants to move back to her native Northeast." The team "didn't list when she is leaving." Rodriguez joined Atlanta United in '15 and is "credited with helping the team reportedly sell more than 30,000 season tickets." A "national search is underway for her replacement" (ATLANTA JOURNAL-CONSTITUTION 5/20). In Atlanta, Phil Hudson noted Rodriguez is "credited with helping establish the team’s brand identity, sales and marketing initiatives and highly successful merchandising efforts." Atlanta United has "established new records for season ticket sales and home attendance for expansion teams in MLS" (BIZJOURNALS.com, 5/19). Rodriguez was an SBJ/SBD "Forty Under 40" winner this year (THE DAILY).
