NFL Players Inc. Moves Ride-Share Deal To Lyft; Players Can Use Social Media For Credits

NFL Players Inc. has formed a partnership with Lyft for the upcoming season, and the pact begins today. Financial details were not disclosed. Under the terms of the agreement, Lyft will not only provide rides for NFL players, but will assist them with future career and business opportunities, said NFL Players Inc. President Ahmad Nassar, whose entity serves as the marketing and licensing arm of the NFLPA. Lyft will provide ride credits to rookies invited to the annual NFLPA draft debut event tonight in Philadelphia. Additionally, all active players will be eligible to receive $250 in ride credits, as well as the ability to earn more credits through an ongoing social influencer program. NFL Players will be able to redeem Lyft credits in all the markets where an NFL club is located, with the exception of Houston and Buffalo. NFL Players Inc. previously had a one-year deal with Uber.
