Kings VP/Basketball Results ROLAND BEECH is leaving the team after two years. Beech was the "second basketball analytics expert to be hired by the Kings, and the second to leave the team in the past four years" (SACBEE.com, 4/20). Meanwhile, the Kings named LUKE BORNN VP/Strategy & Analytics. He is the “third analytics expert to join the franchise” since ’13. Bornn has been a “visiting scholar and professor” at Harvard Univ.’s Department of Statistics. He also was previously the Head of Analytics for Serie A club AS Roma (SACBEE.com, 4/20).

EXECS: Long Beach State named UC Santa Barbara Deputy AD & Chief Development Officer ANDY FEE AD. He replaces VIC CEGLES, who left in May ’16. Senior Associate AD and Senior Woman Administrator CINDY MASNER had been serving as interim AD (LBS)....The World Surf League named Discovery Communications Senior VP/Digital BETH GREVE Chief Commercial Officer (WSL)....The Capital Athletic Conference named Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Associate Commissioner JEFF LIGNEY Commissioner (MLIVE.com, 4/19)....The NASL Jacksonville Armada FC promoted Senior VP/Operations MARSHALL HAPPER to COO (JACKSONVILLE.com, 4/20).
