O'Melveny & Myers named IRWIN RAIJ Partner of the law firm's Entertainment, Sports & Media Practice Group and co-Chair of the Sports Industry Group. Raij comes to O'Melveny from Foley & Lardner. He will be based in L.A. Raij, who was included as part of SBJ/SBD's "Power Players: Outside Counsel," aided New York state on lease extensions and stadium matters regarding the Bills, and was involved in work for MLS expansion clubs Orlando City SC and LAFC, the latter where he is also a co-Owner (THE DAILY).

EXECS: Brooklyn Sports & Entertainment named ArenaNetwork VP/Entertainment TINA SUCA VP/Industry Relations. Suca will report to Senior VP/Programming KEITH SHELDON. BS&E also named NBC Olympics Dir of National Sales ANDY MILLER Exec Dir of Global Partnerships (BS&E)....Kent State AD JOEL NIELSEN "signed a contract extension last winter" that will keep him at his post through July '21. Sources said that Nielsen will "receive a sum very similar to the Mid-American Conference-high $428,000 annual salary he was scheduled to make" in '16-17 (Kent RECORD-COURIER, 4/14)....The Red Bulls named NYCFC Dir of Digital Marketing JAYNE BUSSMAN-WISE Senior Dir of Content & Communications. She will report directly to VP/Marketing & Communications JOSEPH STETSON (THE DAILY)....Milwaukee-based law firm Foley & Lardner named KEVIN SCHULZ co-Chair and JON ISRAEL Vice Chair of the firm's Sports Industry Team (THE DAILY).
