"Going Off The Grid" is a weekly survey of sports execs and personalities offering their thoughts on a handful of pressing (and trivial) issues in sports and pop culture. With the '17 MLB season beginning on Sunday, THE DAILY polled four team presidents on their favorite baseball movie, a dream 7th-inning stretch singer and the biggest issue facing the league.

    – His earliest baseball memory is catching a Reggie Jackson foul ball at the '81 ASG.
  • Cardinals President Bill DeWitt III
    – Remembers skipping school to see the Big Red Machine in the '75 and '76 playoffs.
  • Twins President Dave St. Peter
    – Recalls playing family wiffle ball games in his backyard.
