The NFL announced changes to its organizational structure including the promotion of Exec VP/Media BRIAN ROLAPP to Chief Media & Business Officer. He will report to Commissioner ROGER GOODELL. NFL President of Digital Media MARY ANN TURCKE will now report to Rolapp, and NFL Senior VP & Chief Information Officer MICHELLE MCKENNA-DOYLE will report to Turcke. Football Operations will soon begin to search for two positions reporting to NFL Exec VP/Football Operations TROY VINCENT, and the league is also looking for a VP/Special Projects, who will report to NFL COO TOD LEIWEKE (NFL).

KNOW YOUR RIGHTS: SPORTSBUSINESS JOURNAL's John Ourand notes the reorganization "offers a window into the executives who will lead the league through its next round of media rights negotiations." Rolapp will "focus on the league's owned-and-operated media assets," while Leiweke will "focus on integrating those operations into the NFL's overall business." NFL Senior VP/Media Sales Strategy & Development HANS SCHROEDER was promoted to Rolapp's old position. NFL Senior VP/Club Business Development BRIAN LAFEMINA will also begin reporting to Rolapp and will add "ticketing and club business to his responsibilities." Turcke will "head up" the league's L.A. office (SPORTSBUSINESS JOURNAL, 3/27 issue). The NFL yesterday named DR. ALLEN SILLS Chief Medical Officer, a new full-time position based in N.Y. (NFL).
