Ticketing Firm QuintEvents Growing Staff Following New Agreement With F1

Sports ticketing and hospitality firm QuintEvents is "staffing up to handle the additional work of a multi-year deal" with F1, according to Katherine Peralta of the CHARLOTTE OBSERVER. QuintEvents CEO Brian Learst said that the hires "will take place over the next six to 12 months." The company currently employs 55 people at its Charlotte HQ, and it "will almost double its office space" in the city. In addition to the Charlotte hires, it will "open a small office in London, where F1 is based." The firm said that the F1 deal announced last week "helps make QuintEvents 'internationally relevant.'" For the 20 F1 races on the '17 schedule, QuintEvents will "sell experiences in its ticket bundles including tours of the track, meet and greets with certain drivers, race tickets and hotel accommodations." Packages start at about $700 (CHARLOTTE OBSERVER, 3/25).
