Buyers & Sellers: Genie Bouchard Buys South Beach Penthouse; Dilfer Sells Home For $7M

Tennis player GENIE BOUCHARD purchased a multi-million dollar penthouse on Miami's South Beach. The two-bedroom home "comes with beachfront property and is part of the 1 Hotel & Homes South Beach venture." Her new home is one of 13 "fully furnished penthouses at the location, which has 155 residences, ranging from 1,694 square feet to 4,207 square feet" and priced from $3.8M. Owners have access to "four oceanfront swimming pools, concierge services, three restaurants and bars from award-winning chef TOM COLICCHIO" (MONTREALGAZETTE.com, 3/20).

GOING ONCE, GOING TWICE...: ESPN NFL Analyst TRENT DILFER has sold his home in Saratoga, Calif., for $6.8M. The estate had been priced at $6.998M and "went from listed to closed in just over a month." The 5,460-square-foot, Spanish-style home has "five bedrooms and 5.5 bathrooms." Additionally, "outdoors, lawns and landscaping surround a tiled swimming pool and spa." It features an "outdoor kitchen with a pizza oven, a bocce ball court and a vineyard" (LATIMES.com, 3/22)....Former Cal football coach SONNY DYKES has sold his Oakland-area home for $4.35M -- $100,000 "over the asking price." He bought the property in '13 for $3.45M. The home includes a "den with a wet bar and an updated kitchen with a marble-topped island." There are "two master suites, including one with a custom dressing room" (LATIMES.com, 3/16).

CALIFORNIA, HERE I COME: Retired WWE star "STONE COLD" STEVE AUSTIN has bought a house in Marina Del Rey, Calif., for $1.49M. The single-story house, built in '52, has "about 1,100 square feet of living space." Outside, "tropical landscaping, mature trees, hedges and lawns fill out the 6,000 square foot lot" (LATIMES.com, 3/22)....Rams Exec VP/Football Operations & COO KEVIN DEMOFF has "bought a home" in Cheviot Hills, Calif., for $4.15M. The traditional-inspired home, built in '16, features wide-plank wood floors that "run throughout the six-bedroom, two-story home." It also has a "two-story foyer, a center-island kitchen and 5.5 bathrooms" (LATIMES.com, 3/22).

BUYERS & SELLERS: Former Bears coach MARC TRESTMAN last month listed his "three-bedroom, 2,000-square-foot brick town home" in the Chicago area for $695,000. Built in '98, the "town home was remodeled" in '15. Trestman is now the coach of the CFL Toronto Argonauts (CHICAGOTRIBUNE.com, 3/16)....Former UFC fighter-turned FS1 analyst KENNY FLORIAN has put his Hollywood Hills West home on the market for $3.1M. The 4,028-square-foot home "mixes period details with a range of contemporary updates." It features "white-painted barrel vault ceilings in the great room, eye-catching wallpaper in the dining room and an updated cook's kitchen" (LATIMES.com, 3/21)....Former MLBer RICK ANKIEL is currently listing his Jupiter, Fla., home for $2M. The waterfront estate sits on an acre of land. Property features include 90 feet of Loxahatchee waterfront with a dock and boat lift, a six-car garage and separate guest house, as well as a large heated pool and spa (THE DAILY).
