MLB.com's Michael Clair noted the White Sox' season-ticket stubs for premium seating sections this year display works of art that "would fit in quite nicely at at the Art Institute of Chicago." The 81 different designs and logos on the ticket stubs were created by White Sox Dir of Advertising & Design Services Gareth Breunlin and graphic designer Todd Radom. The White Sox will be "making the designs downloadable after each game" (MLB.com, 3/15).

CHANGE OF HEART: ESPN.com's Andrea Canales notes Galaxy President Chris Klein was "wary when he first heard the news" that the team would be sharing the StubHub Center with the Chargers. Klein: "Concern, just because having our home and the integrity of what we do was important to us." But Klein now feels differently, saying, "Optimism because of the things that we're going to do and the opportunity to improve the experience for our fans." The Chargers have "promised to be polite guests" (ESPN.com, 3/16).

ONE-TWO PUNCH
: Rockets GM Daryl Morey said new Lakers GM Rob Pelinka was "one of the top agents" in the field before taking the Lakers job. Morey said he "loved working with him." Morey said the way the Lakers are set up, new President of Basketball Operations Magic Johnson "will get them on the right track pretty shortly." Morey: "I understand they haven’t had these exact roles before. But given their knowledge of basketball and working continuously in the game, they’re well prepared to take over" (L.A. DAILY NEWS, 3/15).

On this week’s pod, SBJ’s Austin Karp has two Big Get interviews. The first is with TNT’s Stan Van Gundy as he breaks down the NBA Playoffs from the booth. Later in the show, we hear from ESPN’s VP of Programming and Acquisitions Tim Reed as the NFL Draft gets set to kick off on Thursday night in Motown.
