Buyers & Sellers: Fred Couples Puts California Home Back On The Market For $3.75M

Golfer FRED COUPLES has put his home in La Quinta, Calif., "back on the market" for $3.75M, down from $3.95M a year ago. The Mediterranean villa-style home sits on "about half an acre in the prestigious Madison Club." The roughly 5,200 square feet of living space "includes a great room, a formal dining room, a media room and a chef's kitchen with an oversized island." There are "master suites on both floors, each with a fireplace and a private terrace, for a total of four bedrooms and 4.5 bathrooms" (LATIMES.com, 2/23).

: Former NFLer BRENT JONES is selling his Diablo, Calif., home for $2.795M. The 4,310-square-foot Cape Cod-style property "has four bedrooms and four-and-a-half baths." It also "features two staircases, a great room, pool and putting green among many other amenities" (MERCURYNEWS.com, 2/16)....MLB free agent COCO CRISP has "put a home in the Rancho Mirage area" of California "back on the market" for $1.9M. The single-story house "sits on more than half an acre in the guard-gated Thunderbird Cove community." Beyond the "stacked-stone entry, the 8,520 square feet of open-plan space centers on a step-down living room with two-sided fireplace." Ribboned stone floors, "wood-paneled ceilings and expanses of glass are among the details." Other features "include a wraparound wet bar, a center-island kitchen and a wine cellar." The master suite "has two walk-in closets and a fireplace for a total of four bedrooms and 6.5 bathrooms" (LATIMES.com, 2/20).
