BRISTOL ORIGINAL: DIGIDAY's Sahil Patel noted ESPN is "gearing up to produce more original 'SportsCenter' videos for digital and social platforms." The net has "assigned a group to focus full time on creating original 'SportsCenter' videos for digital platforms." This could include "everything from the 'SportsCenter' hosts working on a story away from their desks; random behind-the-scenes sketches with athletes and celebrities visiting ESPN’s Bristol headquarters; or short features on a specific topic that might eventually air on the TV broadcast." ESPN Senior VP/"SportsCenter" & News Rob King said that the net "does not have a set number of original 'SportsCenter' videos it wants to make on a daily basis" (DIGIDAY.com, 2/20).

HOCKEY ON THE GO: MSG yesterday announced March 2 as the launch date for Devils, Rangers and Islanders games being available on its MSG Go streaming service. In New Jersey, John Brennan notes the debut night will feature Rangers-Bruins, Devils-Capitals and Islanders-Stars (Bergen RECORD, 2/22).
