Spurs F LAMARCUS ALDRIDGE "bought a home" in Newport Coast, Calif., in late summer for $7M and "sold it last month" for $8.35M. The home has 6,800 square feet of interiors and includes a "living room with a fireplace, a family/media room, an office/den and a bonus room/gym with a sauna." The second-floor master suite "has a fireplace and a sitting room for a total of four bedrooms and six bathrooms" (LATIMES.com, 1/18).

BUYERS & SELLERS: Former MLBer LATROY HAWKINS has put his 13,315-square-foot Prosper, Texas, home "on the market" for $4M. The home, built in '04, sits on 5.78 acres and features a pool, basketball court, weight room and stocked pond (DALLASNEWS.com, 1/18)....Recently fired Bills coach REX RYAN's home in Orchard Park, N.Y., "was listed this week" for $1.1M. Built in '04, the house "has four bedrooms, five bathrooms with heated floors, a three and a half car garage, five fireplaces and a sun room." The finished basement "features a full bar, wine cellar and doors outside to an in-ground pool with a hot tub and full outdoor kitchen" (BUFFALONEWS.com, 1/18)....Gold Medal-winning Australian swimmer IAN THORPE sold his Hollywood Hills home "for its asking price of $950,000." The 960-square-foot home was built in '61 (LATIMES.com, 1/18).
