WME-IMG has signed Stanford RB CHRISTIAN MCCAFFREY for endorsements and all off-field endeavors. WME-IMG agent IRA STAHLBERGER will serve as lead agent for McCaffrey. The '15 Heisman Trophy runner-up is repped by Lagardere Sports President of Team Sports JOEL SEGAL for on-field purposes. McCaffrey is seen as a potential first-round pick in this year's NFL Draft (Liz Mullen, Staff Writer).

PAPER TRAIL: Emails show that STEPHEN PASSACANTILLI, a top aide to Boston Mayor MARTIN WALSH, and whose brother was the City Hall lobbyist for the failed Grand Prix of Boston -- "participated in early meetings on the proposed IndyCar race." The emails appear to "dispute the city’s longtime insistence he had no role in the event." The news of Passacantilli’s involvement follows a report on Thursday "disclosing that another former aide, just four days after leaving her City Hall job and jumping to the Grand Prix’s consultant, wrote an email to the head of IndyCar boasting of her access to Walsh" (BOSTON HERALD, 1/13). 

NAMES: Falcons DT JONATHAN BABINEAUX recently "received The President’s Volunteer Service Gold Award and medal" from PRESIDENT OBAMA for his community service with a "special commitment to Environmental Stewardship." Babineaux has volunteered for "nearly 100 different organizations in Atlanta" (ATLANTA JOURNAL-CONSTITUTION, 1/13)....The Las Vegas Stadium Authority named UFC COO IKE LAWRENCE EPSTEIN to its BOD (THE DAILY)....ESPN’s STEPHEN A. SMITH will be inducted to the CIAA’s John B. McLendon Jr. HOF (CIAA).
