Cowboys Set AT&T Stadium Attendance Record; Rams, Vikes Up At Larger Venues

The Cowboys once again led all teams in attendance during the '16 NFL regular season, averaging 92,540 fans at AT&T Stadium and establishing a new venue record. Upon returning to L.A. after 21 seasons in St. Louis, the Rams averaged 83,165 fans per game at L.A. Memorial Coliseum. The club averaged 52,403 fans last season during the final campaign at Edward Jones Dome. In the inaugural season of U.S. Bank Stadium, the Vikings saw a 27% increase in average attendance after spending two seasons at the smaller TCF Bank Stadium. In a November home game against the Eagles, a record 69,190 fans packed CenturyLink Field in Seattle. The Bears saw the biggest decline at the gate among NFC teams and finished last in the conference with a figure of 57,018 per game.
