Independent Sports & Entertainment promoted Senior VP & General Counsel for Basketball DAVID BAUMAN to Senior VP & Assistant General Counsel for the firm at large. He will also serve as ISE sports division General Counsel, which includes more than 300 clients across the NBA, NFL and MLB. In his new role, Bauman will oversee all of ISE's legal affairs for its sports agency business, including drafting and reviewing key business, marketing and endorsement agreements for clients and the handling of litigation. Bauman has worked for 25 years in the agency business and has been at the former Relativity Sports since '14. Relativity Sports relaunched as ISE earlier this year (Liz Mullen, Staff Writer).

EXECS: UFC named mobile solutions firm Digital Turbine Exec VP & CFO ANDREW SCHLEIMER CFO, replacing NAKISA BIDARIAN, who is leaving at the end of the month to work on investments for the FERTITTA family (UFC)....Brooklyn Sports & Entertainment named WME-IMG Senior VP/HR CHRISTOPHER MAGEE Senior VP/HR & Culture (BSE)....Chicago-based marketing and hospitality firm Intersport named JPMorgan Chase Head of Innovation & Global Brand Marketing STACEY VOLLMAN WARWICK Senior VP & GM. Warwick also had a previous stint as SI Digital GM (Intersport)....The NFL named Citigroup VP/Corporate Communications KAMRAN MUMTAZ Dir of Communications, where he "will be responsible for helping develop media strategies related to marketing, consumer products, partnerships and events, including the NFL Draft and Pro Bowl." Mumtaz will report to NFL Senior VP/Communications NATALIE RAVITZ (POLITICO.com, 12/5)....Sources said that Baylor Univ. has brought on Texas A&M Senior Associate AD/External Affairs JASON COOK to "oversee media relations and marketing" (THEEAGLE.com, 12/5)....Portland State Univ. named Willamette Univ. AD VALERIE CLEARY to the same role (PSU)....Reds Senior VP & Special Assistant to the GM JERRY WALKER "will retire this offseason." The 77-year-old Walker has been with the team since '09, "serving in a pro scouting role with a particular emphasis on pitching" (CINCINNATI.com, 12/5).
