Audience Analysis: Michigan-OSU Gives ESPN Most-Watched "College GameDay" Since '07

ESPN's "College GameDay" last Saturday garnered the show's highest audience in nine years as it broadcast live from Columbus ahead of the Michigan-Ohio State game. The show drew 2.61 million viewers from 9:00am-12:00pm ET. Saturday's total is behind only the show on Nov. 24, 2007, prior to the Missouri-Kansas game in K.C., which drew 2.62 million viewers over a two-hour period (10:00am-noon). Due to the magnitude of Saturday's game, ESPN aired an extra two hours from 7:00-9:00am. That portion of "GameDay" earned 885,000 viewers. Meanwhile, Saturday's "GameDay" was the most-streamed on record, averaging 68,000 viewers.

The chart below lists final audience figures from select recent sports telecasts.
