United Signs Three-Year Deal To Title Sponsor Rock 'N' Roll Marathon Events In DC, S.F.

The Competitor Group Inc. has signed United Airlines to a three-year deal making it the title sponsor of Rock ’n’ Roll Marathon series events in DC and S.F. The deal kicks off with the DC marathon on March 11, then follows with the S.F. half marathon on March 26. United VP/Marketing Mark Krolick in a statement said the cities were chosen to target pockets of United employees and customers. Momentum Worldwide negotiated for United; Competitor Group Senior VP Doug Kaplan handled the deal for the property. Financial terms were not disclosed.

TNT’s Stan Van Gundy, ESPN’s Tim Reed, NBA Playoffs and NFL Draft
