Several NFL Players Sign Up To Use New Neurotechnology Product Halo Sport

Halo Neuroscience, a Bay Area start-up in the emerging field of neurotechnology, has aligned with several NFL players for its first product, Halo Sport. The product, newly available to the public and resembling a pair of headphones, operates on neurostimulation in which electric pulses are sent to the brain’s motor cortex to aid with training, resulting in improvements in strength and explosiveness. The group of NFL players using the product include Patriots LB Trevor Bates, Raiders CB T.J. Carrie, Browns LB Demario Davis, Browns C Gabe Ikard and Eagles DE Marcus Smith. “This is all about enabling hyperlearning for the brain,” said Halo Neuroscience CEO & co-Founder Daniel Chao. “We’re trying to reach athletes of all types, so these (NFL athlete) relationships are an important validation for us.”
