Griffin, Parsons Among NBA Figures Appearing In New Mockumentary Appearing On Go90

Clippers F Blake Griffin, Grizzlies F Chandler Parsons and Lakers F Metta World Peace are among those backing the sports mockumentary "The 5th Quarter," which has been "picked up" by Verizon-owned streaming service go90, according to Natalie Jarvey of the HOLLYWOOD REPORTER. NBA league partner Verizon acquired the show from multimedia production company OBB Pictures, 3 Arts Entertainment and digital studio Kids at Play. The show, which premieres Nov. 2, will "tell untold -- and untrue -- stories set in the sports world with the help of a cadre of professional athletes and comedians." The first episode features Griffin starring as 7-year-old Clif Cliff Adele, who "comes to America with his uncle Brian and sets the basketball world on fire." Mavericks Owner Mark Cuban "takes notice but a scandal breaks out when it's revealed that Clif Cliff is actually a 30-year-old man" (HOLLYWOODREPORTER.com, 10/25).
