Axe Bat Sees Corporate Change To Operate More Independently From Baden Sports

Washington-based Axe Bat has completed a corporate realignment in which it will operate more distinctly from corporate parent Baden Sports. Axe Bat will now have its own dedicated staff and business division reporting to Senior VP JAY HELMICK, who was recently promoted from VP/Sales & Marketing. The shift allows for Axe Bat to devote more resources on product development, marketing and sales. Axe Bat has also hired TREVOR STOCKING as its new Dir of Product Marketing. Stocking previously was with sports sensor developer Zepp Labs. Axe Bat earlier this year signed Red Sox RF MOOKIE BETTS as an endorser and Indians RF LONNIE CHISENHALL has used an Axe Bat throughout the postseason, joining a growing number of users among major league players. “The events of the past 12 months have really helped solidify the enormous impact Axe Bats will have on the game of baseball,” Helmick said. “This excitement warranted further focus and dedicated resources; far greater than what we were able to dedicate to Axe Bat as one of Baden Sports’ many product lines. These organizational changes position us well for the next phase of our growth.”
