Devils Unveil One Jersey Marketing Campaign With Focus On Home State

The Devils' One Jersey campaign, which will "prioritize the club's link" to its home state, "made its debut as the Devils hosted the Ducks in their home opener" last night, according to Andrew Gross of the Bergen RECORD. Devils and Prudential Center President Hugh Weber said, "One of the things we had to figure out was how to connect a team to a community. I would say for the first 30-some odd years, this team was representing a great brand of hockey for people who loved hockey. They had success on the ice, but it was never a commercial success on the ice." Weber said that the One Jersey campaign is "more of an ongoing mission" that will "stretch at least 10 to 15 years." He added, "We’re going to double down on this side of the Hudson. We’re going to double down on who we think we are and who we represent" (Bergen RECORD, 10/19).

ART GALLERY: The Devils during the offseason hired Junior Art Dir Anthony Zych, a graphic designer who formerly worked for the Blue Jackets, to design posters for each Devils home game during the '16-17 season. Each poster will be limited to 300 copies and will be available for purchase at the Devils Den team store on the main concourse at Prudential Center. The Devils will also sell a limited number of the complete series at the end of the season (THE DAILY).
