In Baltimore, Jeff Barker notes the Maryland Lottery is "partnering with the Ravens on a new promotion" asking fans what the craziest thing they have ever done supporting the team is. The promo asks fans to "tell their story" by Oct. 23. The best story "wins the author $100 in lottery scratch-off tickets, team apparel and an opportunity to watch their story be made into a radio commercial" (Baltimore SUN, 10/13).

TEE IT UP
: Toshiba America extended its title sponsorship of the PGA Tour Champions event in Newport Beach, Calif.which bears its name. The tournament, held last week, will not be contested in '17 and will return to its traditional March date beginning in '18. The extension runs through the '20 event. Toshiba is the longest-standing title sponsor on the PGA Tour Champions, dating back to the event's inception in '95 (PGA Tour). 

CRUNCH ON THAT: In Chicago, Lewis Lazare noted Blackhawks D Duncan Keith is getting his "own cereal called 'Keith Krunch.'" The cereal is "now rolling out on Jewel-Osco store shelves in Chicago." The cereal "draws attention to Keith's charity effort, Keith Relief," a fund created in '11 to help "ease the financial and emotional burdens of families and individuals dealing with medical crises." Keith's cereal is a "joint effort" with Pittsburgh-based marketing firm PLB Sports, which was "involved in the launch" of Cubs 1B Anthony Rizzo's "RizzOs" cereal (BIZJOURNALS.com, 10/12).

ONE CLICK AWAY: In Toronto, Kevin Connor notes eBay Canada has seen a 35% increase in new Blue Jays "memorabilia listings" since Sunday, when the team clinched a spot in the ALCS. Most of the online spending is "leaning toward" RF Jose Bautista memorabilia (TORONTO SUN, 10/13).
