Uninterrupted Makes Three New Hires To Promote, Create Media Company's Content

Uninterrupted has hired former Disney/ABC TV Group Dir of Digital Media Ad Sales Strategy MATT DEMARTIS as head of Marketing & Brand Partnerships, one of three new hires at the media company. Additionally, Uninterrupted has hired former ESPN producer MATT RISSMILLER as Production Dir and former HBO Dir of Social Media Marketing TREVOR MCNEAL as Dir of Audience Development. All have started work in Uninterrupted's L.A. office and all will report to GM DEVIN JOHNSON. "As we continue to work with athletes to tell their stories, these guys are going to be crucial in every phase of the process," Johnson said. "From developing to sharing and amplifying that content with the right partners and across digital platforms." DeMartis will work to partner with brands on Uninterrupted's digital content. "His experience in building brand partnerships for some of ABC's biggest assets speaks to his ability to seek out the right opportunities and turn them into meaningful integrations, which will be important for original Uninterrupted content going forward," Johnson said. Rissmiller on his second day on the job took a flight to oversee Uninterrupted's production of its recent series "Rebuilt" featuring NBAer CHRIS BOSH, Johnson noted. McNeal will be charged with expanding Uninterrupted's audience and social engagement efforts. "With Trevor's experience in working with marquee franchises at HBO, he knows how to navigate the digital and social media landscape and how to harness those assets to drive viewership," Johnson said. Uninterrupted, which was launched by LEBRON JAMES and MAVERICK CARTER last year, will be bring on more "innovative content creators and distributors" in the future, Johnson said.
