Callaway Golf has "acquired Toulon Design" and named company co-Founder SEAN TOULON Senior VP. Toulon also will serve as Odyssey Golf GM. Toulon "spent the better part of the last quarter century" with TaylorMade, ending his time there in '15 as Exec VP/Product Creation. He comes to Callaway "just a year after launching Toulon Design, a boutique putter brand offering custom milled designs" (GOLFDIGEST.com, 8/29).

EXECS: Watkins Glen Int'l promoted Senior Dir of Facilities & Operations CHRIS CORNETT to VP/Facilities & Operations (WGI)....The Earthquakes yesterday "fired" GM JOHN DOYLE and named Technical Dir CHRIS LEITCH interim GM. Doyle was named GM in October '07 and "helped rebuild the team after its return from a two-year hiatus" (MERCURYNEWS.com, 8/29)....The Univ. of Minnesota named Univ. of Wyoming Senior Associate AD/Sports Administration & Senior Woman Administrator JULIE MANNING Exec Associate AD and SWA (UM).
