Audience Analysis: UFC Draws Best Summer Figure On Fox Since Debut On The Net

“UFC on Fox 20” on Saturday night drew 2.98 million viewers for a telecast headlined by Valentina Shevchenko’s upset win over Holly Holm. It was the first Fox-UFC card to be headlined by a female bout. The 2.98 million viewers marks Fox’ best figure for a summer UFC card since it acquired rights to the series in ’11. It also marks the best for any “UFC on Fox” telecast since January ’15, when a telecast featuring Anthony Johnson-Alexander Gustaffsson averaged 3.05 million viewers. “UFC on Fox 20” is the eight-best audience for the net in the series overall.

NOTES: FS1 is averaging 860,000 viewers for its NASCAR Camping World Truck Series races to date, marking the series’ best averaging since FS1 launched....MLB Network drew 464,000 viewers for the Baseball HOF induction ceremony last Sunday, which featured Mike Piazza and Ken Griffey Jr. That figure is the net's second-best HOF audience on record, behind only '14 (516,000 viewers), which featured Tom Glavine, Greg Maddux, Frank Thomas, Bobby Cox, Tony LaRussa and Joe Torre.
