NASCAR Driver Merch Sales Led By Dale Jr., But Chase Elliott Climbing Fast In Rookie Year

During the first half of the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series season, Dale Earnhardt Jr. continued to lead at-track merchandise sales among all full-time drivers, according to data from Fanatics, which is the first season of a deal to run merch sales at all Cup Series venues. Jimmie Johnson and defending champion Kyle Busch are right behind Earnhardt. Chase Elliott ranks No. 4 and continues to be one of the top three drivers in sales increases each race weekend. Elliott's sales have nearly quadrupled in his rookie year, making him the youngest driver in Cup Series history to rank among the top five in track-side merch sales. There also are five drivers in the top 20 that are under the age of 26 (Fanatics/NASCAR).
