Coca-Cola VP/Content Emmanuel Seuge Departing To Launch Investment Firm

Coca-Cola VP/Content for North America EMMANUEL SEUGE "is leaving the beverage giant to start his own company investing in startups," according to E.J. Schultz of AD AGE. Seuge "joined the company" in '97 as an intern. He played a "key role shaping Coke's approach to entertainment marketing and content creation." A spokesperson said that the company "has not yet named a replacement" and added that Seuge's new company "will involve an equity fund that invests time and money in emerging start-ups." In Seuge's global role with Coca-Cola, he "oversaw partnerships related to big events such as the Olympics and World Cup." In November, Coca-Cola President/Sparkling Brands & Strategic Marketing North America WENDY CLARK left the company to become DDB Worldwide President & CEO for North America (ADAGE.com, 7/25). Seuge was an SBJ/SBD "Forty Under 40" winner in both '11 and '14 (THE DAILY).
