Overnight Ratings: Fox Sees Lower Figures For Coca-Cola 600, Champions League Finale

Fox on Sunday night drew a 3.2 overnight rating for the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series Coca-Cola 600 from Charlotte, likely marking the race's lowest audience since it moved to broadcast TV. The race, which saw Martin Truex Jr. take the win after leading a NASCAR-record 392 of 400 laps, also was down 13.5% from a 3.7 overnight last year. The figure on Sunday -- which was the fastest Coca-Cola 600 ever at three hours, 44 minutes, eight seconds -- also was down from a 3.9 overnight in '14 and a 4.1 in '13 and '12. Meanwhile, on Saturday, Fox drew a 1.2 overnight for Real Madrid's win in penalty kicks over Atletico Madrid in the UEFA Champions League finale. That figure is down from a 1.7 for FC Barcelona-Juventus last year and down from a 1.3 for Real Madrid's win over Atletico in '14.

The chart below lists overnight ratings from sports telecast on broadcast TV during Memorial Day weekend.
