The Kraft Sports Group has launched a business analytics division called Kraft Analytics Group (KAGR) and promoted VP/Customer Marketing & Strategy JESSICA GELMAN to CEO for KAGR. Gelman also "launched the successful MIT Sloan Sports Analytics Conference" in '07 (SPORTSBUSINESS JOURNAL, 5/23 issue). Gelman said that the company will "go after clients in sports and entertainment." Having Patriots Owner ROBERT KRAFT and President JONATHAN KRAFT involved will "help KAGR get its foot in the door with customers, but in a market with acute need and increasing sophistication, they'll need impressive goods to stay" (BOSTONINNO.STREETWISE.com, 5/24).

EXECS: HBO promoted President of Series, Late-Night & Specials CASEY BLOYS to President of Programming, replacing MICHAEL LOMBARDO, who is "segueing to a producing role" with the network. Bloys "will take on oversight of all programming for HBO and Cinemax," including HBO Sports and HBO Documentaries. Among the execs now reporting to Bloys is HBO Sports Exec VP PETER NELSON (VARIETY.com, 5/23)....Marketing agency U/S Sports Advisors named KYLE JOHNSON Content Development Coordinator. He will focus on the production of digital and social content for clients such as Honda and NASCAR (U/S Sports Advisors)....Discovery Family Channel named FS Florida Dir of Marketing CORENNA SMITH Marketing Dir (MEDIABISTRO.com, 5/24)....The Bruins named PAUL WHISSEL Dir of Sports Performance & Rehab (Bruins).
